Description
Graded NM-MT+ 92 by SGC. Not only was Al Benton the only pitcher to face both Ruth and Mantle as an active player, but he also got to appear on this superb 1952 Topps Baseball #374 high number. Strong example with solid corners, off-white edges and lovely background colors. A very slight top-to-bottom centering "tilt" prevents an even higher technical assessment. The lone specimen at its grading level with only one better.
