Description

Photographers took to the diamond, the gridiron and the links to capture telling images in these photos. Subsequently, the heroic subjects have autographed the ready-for-display keepsakes. The (20) oversized prints are decorated with signatures that average (“9”) strength and clarity and include: Bednarik, Boggs, Doerr, (2) Feller, Ford, Gionfriddo, Griffey, Jr., R. Sammy Sosa a 27x19 color limited edition (18/66) Arthur K. Miller lithograph print signed in blue marker and inscribed “21.” The detailed illustration portrays Sosa watching the flight of one his wallops during the September 13, 1998 contest vs. the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field. Sosa tied and surpassed Roger Maris’ 1961 single-season home run mark that day. Note: there is a small tear on the lower right border which does not affect the image or autograph.
