Blanking the host Athletics for 10 innings to lower his career World Series ERA to a miniscule 0.87, Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson also plated the game’s first run with a 10th-inning RBI single in Game 2 of the 1913 Fall Classic. This Shibe Park ticket stub was issued for that memorable one man show. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, this voucher is the lone specimen at its tier with none graded higher. With printed seating/event details and the facsimile signature of Athletics president “C. McGillicuddy,” this October heirloom is the finest known survivor.
