In a series marred by heated verbal exchanges, the 1932 Fall Classic began with Lou Gehrig launching a home run to help power the Yankees to a 12-6 thumping of the Chicago Cubs. Graded Good 2 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued on September 28, 1932 at Yankee Stadium for that high-scoring series opener. The colorful voucher is the lone example at its tier with only two graded higher. With printed seating details and the facsimile signature of Yankees president Jacob Ruppert, the keepsake presents nicer than the technical assessment suggests.
