You will “live long & prosper” by boldly going after this lot of (2) vintage Star Trek memorabilia pieces. Included in this lot are a 1967 issue of TV Guide featuring the magazine’s first Star Trek cover and a rare unopened 1976 package of “Mr. Spock Vulcan Ears”. The TV Guide issue is from the week of 3/4/67 and features an “out of this world” cover photo of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. This handsome publication displays in nice condition with a solid spine and is minimally affected by a few small creases near the top edge and some very minor scuffing which does not detract from the integrity of the appealing cover. No mailing label was ever applied to this piece. The "Mr. Spock Vulcan Ears" measure 4x2 each and are housed in sealed packaging which bears a 1976 Paramount Pictures copyright on the hole-punched cardboard display panel. This panel presents in excellent condition with age appropriate signs of wear including moderate staple oxidation and minor corner wear. It features a handsome black & white photo of Spock against a star filled blue background which is repeated on the reverse side.
