Description

Issued to one of 38,093 spectators on October 10, 1926 for Game 7 of the World Series, this Yankee Stadium-issued program features black-and-white photos of the participants, as well as scoring grids which have been marked in pencil to chronicle a most unusual game in which the Yankees were felled, 3-2 as Babe Ruth homered in the third, but was gunned down trying to steal second to end the game and series. The 16-page guide has a vertical compacting fold and the scorecard page is detached. A scarce survivor from an October chapter in Bronx history.
